Our Beginnings
INDUŌ began laying its roots in 2020 on the golden coast of San Francisco, CA. On their first date Holland+ Eric came together and instantly felt a sense of connection. Something clicked that day. Inspired by their connection and the city’s electric energy they set out to create products that reflect SF’s sincere feeling of belonging. And from there, they not only fell in love, but began to experience a true connection with their natural environment and what it means to turn a house into a home.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and the world changed, like many we found the opportunity to create something new together, so we picked up a new hobby: candle making. With the world stuck inside & mandated to WFH, our home spaces became more important than ever. And so, out of our apartment on the SF bay, we stepped deeper into our passion for creating warm spaces.
As the next generation of thought leaders, creatives and business professionals we are on a mission to “be who we needed” growing up. As a force for good, our products can help facilitate transitions + hard conversations, provide warmth + comfort, bring people together, create community, and offer a sense of belonging wherever you may be.

As a couple, we know that same sex partners have different needs when it comes to the home. This is why we have created a line of candles that can help enhance your home, particularly, but not exclusively for same-sex couples. We strive to offer candle experiences that allow each couple, no matter who you are, to find what you need.

Leaning into his creativity and innovation to create exceptional home goods that remain elegant, regardless of the ever changing trends. In a world obsessed with more, Eric uncovers the beauty in less. His goal is to inspire a sense of belonging in every space through thoughtful details and design.

Seeking to discover and bring beauty into the world, Holland is moved by the details that inspire, bring joy, and introduce us to new ways of seeing our daily spaces. For him, beauty mandates intuition and presence, honesty and openness...and embraces interconnectedness, origin, and ethos.
